Making New Sachet Beads!

Shutter Island Movie Review..

Bruce and I went to see this movie Saturday night because the trailer looked really great! Sadly, the movie was NOT like the trailer at all. It jumps around a lot and Leonardo DeCaprio's character starts one way and in the end, it is like the entire movie was a dream, or another reality that he created and he himself was insane from the death of his children that his wife drowned. Or was it? You are left to decide if it in deed was the reality that he could not live with and created a new life and name for himself or did they just MAKE him think he was insane? The ending left you hanging as he walked with the guards and psychiatrist to the Light House where Labotomy's were performed. It reminded me of a movie of long ago called "Jacob's Ladder" where the guy was dying and as his life and people in it came and went during that process...it jumped around from one person to another and again, you weren't sure what was reality and what wasn't. Anyway, we (and everyone else leaving the movie) were very disappointed and at $9.00/person to get in, I would have rather seen The Tooth Fairy! At least that would have been entertaining. Thumbs down on this one. :(

New Location!

We have moved our Store location to 95 Willow Bend Drive, Hiram, Georgia 30141. Telephone: 770-222-8603. We are located off Bill Carruth Parkway on Willow Bend Drive, 4th house on the left. This is where I started my business and after a year of a retail store, we decided to move back to a Home Based Business in the Basement of our home. Everything is set up like the store, only in a smaller area with all the purses, bath and body products, candles, jewelry and other items that I carried at the brick and mortar store. I'm very happy to be back where I started as it is a lot more personal and my customers are very happy too! I'll be posting pictures later today...it is going to be AWESOME when I have everything put in its place. Working on putting all my Essential and Fragrance Oils where I need them and going through all the containers, but am making incredible progress! I look forward to seeing you all soon! OH...we have 3 puppies left now, Brown Cow, Daisy and Whiney. Would still like to find a home for Daisy, but if not, We are happy keeping 3 puppies...they are just so adorable!

Puppies are 2 weeks old!

Well our Basset/Boxer mix puppies are 2 weeks old now! Their eyes are open and they are walking around really good! 2 of them managed to get out of the pen already yesterday. We moved them from the bedroom (where they were born) to the living room as there is more room there. Geraldine doesn't seem to mind and lets Shelby (our granddaughter) go in the pen and hold them (of course I have to make sure no poop is in there! LOL They are really fat and some of them we call cows they are so big! Here are a couple of pictures taken this morning.You can see how much they have grown! I certainly didn't want 10 puppies, or put her through that, but it has been a lot of fun. Oh...YES, she will be spayed as soon as the vet says she is well enough and the puppies are eating solid food. They are just now getting teeth that are about to break through their skin. Amazing how fast they grow! :)
